Since 1967, the Emosson logo has figured on all the debt securities and bond coupons issued by Electricité d'Emosson SA.

It symbolizes the French-Swiss hydroelectric storage plant. The internal circle with the blue waves represents the central element of the facility, the Emosson reservoir, from which the company received its name. This is the second largest storage lake in Switzerland, with a capacity of 225 million m3, operated jointly with the Swiss federal railways.
The vertical blue arrows indicate that the water is not only turbined but also pumped; the red arrows (red being the color generally used for electric circuits) show that the energy goes in two directions: to the French Electricité de France, a 50-percent partner, and to the Swiss Aar et Tessin SA., which holds the other 50-percent share.
.

Finally, the square of four arrows has four openings, representing the four collecting works that fill the reservoir: West and South in France, East and Triège in Switzerland. The colors on the white background also correspond to the colors of the two States, the Canton of Valais and the Department of Haute-Savoie, which are concerned by the project.
